The whiskey stones from Teroforma are more gentle than ice and are best used to cool down your favorite spirit just enough to take off the edge without closing down the flavor.

Using them is simple.  Store them in the freezer for at least 4 hours before use.  Add 3 stones to your glass, and pour your favorite spirit until it reaches the height of 1 stone (about 2 fl oz).  Let stand for 5 minutes and then enjoy your spirit.

When finished, rinse the stones and air dry after every use and store in the freezer for next time. Do not chew or ingest these stones.  These whiskey stones are not intended as an ice substitute or for use with large amounts of liquids. The whiskey stones intent is to slightly chill the drink to take the edge off.  The stones are composed primarily of talc, soapstone will not inadvertently scratch glass, and is particularly effective at retaining temperature for extended periods of time.
