The coffee maker is made from heat resistant borosilicate (laboratory) glass with a chrome-plated steel frame and lid.

The optima 8 cup or 32 ounce/1 litre capacity makes 6 - 8 cups of coffee.

The filter and plunger are stainless steel and dishwasher safe. To make gourmet coffee quickly and easily, simply place 1 tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee beans per cup in the beaker, cover with boiling water, wait 3 minutes, press down the plunger and sit back and enjoy that perfect cup of coffee.
